We are excited to partner with a startup that is building out the infrastructure for the next generation bioreactors and operating systems that will industrialize cultivated meats.  

The technology platform is a combination of hardware (industrial scale) and software with advanced sensors and model-based controls that allow for intelligence decision making and the ability to efficiently operate a large facility with a small team. 

They have strong Mechanical Engineering, Cell Culture and Software skills on the team and now need to add an exceptional Software Engineer with hardware integration experience to round out the initial team.

Your Impact (Responsibilities)

We are looking for a Software Engineer to build out and own the system integration platform: interfaces between our automation layer and software services, along with the SITL and HITL test systems to make them reliable. The Data Systems team is responsible for everything from production, model-based control software to web-based data monitoring applications. In this role, you'll get the chance to collaborate with the broader team of process scientists and automation engineers, enabling their innovation through a combination of reliable software and fast-paced design iteration.

The position entails working with a multidisciplinary team as part of a new product development cycle, which includes developing concepts and taking them from initial design and prototyping through commercialization.

About You

• Minimum 2 years of experience in software development
• Exposure to integration testing involving a hardware component
• Experience implementing continuous integration/deployment best practices
• Fluency in Python
• Familiarity with building high-reliability, mission-critical software systems
