Climate Technology Analyst II

The Company

Our client is an advisory firm that works with start-ups to some of the largest Fortune 500 companies to find solutions to secure government funding within the semiconductor, material science, clean tech, industrial, and energy space.

Your Impact

This is a very high exposure role where you will lead the creation of technical analyses and value propositions for clients through working with their C-Suite to provide insight into the overall strategy and to deliver content and direction based on your expertise. In addition, you will take a significant leadership role in completing key elements of final deliverables. 

  • You will keep up to date with program developments within the government, such as DoD, CIA, NIH, DoE, DHS, FBI, and the Intelligence Community. You will add technical insights and recommendations regarding the relevance of the information for specific client projects.
  • You will research companies, technologies, and government programs and develop tactics for achieving the objective of these efforts.
  • You will do the administrative management of grant applications, whitepapers, and RFP/RFQ responses, and you will generate and edit technical materials and analyses for clients, such as client presentations, technical value proposition analyses, collateral, and concept papers, and whitepapers for clients and government consumers.

About You

  • You have a Bachelor's in a hard-science or engineering plus 2-5 years of work experience in a technical field, OR you have a Master's or Ph.D. in hard science or engineering plus 0-3 years of work experience.
  • You have excellent quantitative analytical and modeling skills and strong critical thinking skills, and you aren't afraid to present technical solutions, memos, and presentations.
  • You can think creatively and independently about how to solve new problems or apply technologies to new applications.
  • You are a self-starter who can work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
  • You enjoy research and keeping up to date on government developments.
  • You can adapt to change quickly and work on multiple projects simultaneously.

Bonus Points

  • You have experience in the semiconductor, material science, clean tech, industrial, or energy space.
