This system makes it easy to measure and mitigate GHG at the source and provides a real-time, actionable data platform for building owners to have unprecedented visibility into this data. They are a fast-growing startup seeking foundational team members who can help build the product and contribute to the company's mission and culture.

We are looking for high impact Platform Data Lead - this is an opportunity to be the first dedicated software architect at an early stage startup. The ideal candidate for our founding software engineer position is passionate about building reliable and delightful systems that span the spectrum across hardware, science, data, and software to help us on our mission to draw down emissions.

• Define and design our software infrastructure for our carbon mitigation sensing systems
• Identify and implement technologies for data ingestion, transform, and analysis
• Collaborate with electrical engineers, mechanical engineers, and environmental scientists to develop sensing software and drivers
• Drive software engineering execution in support of business objectives, by directly working with the CEO

• Passion for mitigating the effects of climate change
• Experience developing, deploying, and landing multidisciplinary hardware/software products into the real-world
• Core expertise in data. infrastructure, DevOps
• Some level of data science work would be ideal

Bonus Points

• Experience with complicated hardware/software systems, particularly related to sensing and/or industrial processes
• Experience deploying a network of IoT devices, knowledgeable about solutions to remote management, OTA firmware updating, and log management
• Background with containerized microservices and distributed systems in deployment
