We are partnering with an innovative Climate Tech startup building a groundbreaking modular carbon capture system for the built environment. This system (hardware + software) makes it easy to measure and capture GHG emissions at the scale of the built environment. They are a fast-growing startup seeking foundational team members who can help build the product and contribute to the company's mission and culture.

We are recruiting for a talented Software Engineer with strong backend and data skills to build a first-of-a-kind carbon mitigation and sensing system for the built environment.

• Define and design our software infrastructure for our carbon mitigation sensing systems
• Identify and implement technologies for data ingestion, transform, and analysis
• Collaborate with electrical engineers, mechanical engineers, and environmental scientists to develop sensing software

• Passion for mitigating the effects of climate change
• Strong Python programming skills
• Experience developing and deploying software products into the real-world
• Core expertise in data, infrastructure, DevOps
• Some level of data science work would be ideal

Bonus Points

• Experience with complicated hardware/software systems, particularly related to sensing and/or industrial processes
• Experience deploying a network of IoT devices, knowledgeable about solutions to remote management, OTA firmware updating, and log management
• Background with containerized microservices and distributed systems in deployment
