As a Data Architect you will be a key member of the Data Engineering Department and will assist in building out web services and backend persistence layer. Successful candidates should have a minimum of five years of recent professional programming in positions requiring the skills listed below with an emphasis on Golang and SQL development.
The backend stack is a combination of Golang, Redis, and MySQL while following the Clean Architecture Design pattern. APIs are documented in manage using the Open API framework and maintained in SwaggerHub. Our data pipelines are mainly managed via Databricks within AWS cloud services. All development work is managed via JIRA tracked sprints and Bitbucket Git-flow branch management.
10+ years of IT experience with minimum 5 years as Data Architect
Extension of platform database schema and API architecture in a future forward way
Data modeling and work breakdown of functional requirements into actionable tasks to be picked up by other data engineers
Experience analyzing, building and supporting SaaS based application
Acquire data from primary or secondary data sources then reorganizing said data in a format that can be easily integrated into our core schemas
Design robust, scalable ELT/ETL architecture and processes
Provide relational database expertise to construct and execute SQL queries to be used in data analysis activities
5+ years building large, high traffic web applications at scale
5+ years writing scalable SQL and designing backend relational models
3+ years’ experience with cloud data architecture, tools, and processes
5+ years writing technical documentation
