Our client is an advisory firm that works with start-ups to some of the largest Fortune 500 companies to find solutions to secure government funding within the semiconductor / material science / clean tech / industrial / energy space.

Your Impact

This is a very high exposure role where you will lead the creation of technical analyses and value propositions for clients through working with their C-Suite to provide insight into overall strategy and to deliver content and direction based on your expertise. You will take a large leadership role in completing key elements of final deliverables.

• You will keep up to date with program developments within the government such as: DoD, CIA, NIH, DoE, DHS, FBI, and the Intelligence Community, and will add technical insights and recommendations regarding the relevance of the information for specific client projects
• You will research companies, technologies and government programs and will develop tactics for achieving the objective of these efforts
• You will do the administrative management of grant applications, whitepapers, and RFP/RFQ responses and you will generate and/or edit technical materials and analyses for clients such as: client presentations, technical value proposition analyses, collateral and concept papers and white papers for clients and government consumers

About You

• You have a Bachelor's in a hard-science or engineering plus 2-5 years of work experience in a technical field OR you have a Master's or PhD in hard-science or engineering plus 0-3 years of work experience
• You have excellent quantitative analytical and modeling skills and strong critical thinking skills and you aren’t afraid to present technical solutions, memos and presentations
• You have the ability to think creatively and independently about how to solve new problems or apply technologies to new applications
• You are a self-starter, with the ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
• You enjoy research and keeping up to date on government developments
• You have the ability to quickly adapt to change and you are able to work on multiple projects simultaneously
